Data sharing in infrastructure

The National Infrastructure Commission appointed Deloitte to explore the issue of data sharing in the infrastructure sectors. This study examines the challenges for data sharing in the infrastructure sectors, the potential benefits of increased data sharing in the infrastructure sectors and the role Government can play in facilitating greater data sharing. The main focus of the analysis is on the energy and transport sectors as the largest infrastructure sectors.
This was one of four pieces of external research commissioned to support Data for the Public Good, the final report of the Commission’s New Technology Study.
